Melissa is a part of the Employment and Workplace Relations Team in Launceston, servicing clients across Tasmania. With a background in Insurance Law and Local Government Melissa brings a unique perspective to effectively manage dispute resolution, workplace relationships and litigation in a range of jurisdictions.

Melissa is focussing on delivering services in Employment Law and Workplace Relations including:

• Advising on employment relationships and workplace issues.
• Employment and independent contractor agreements.
• Representing and advising clients in Fair Work Commission and Fair Work Ombudsman matters including unfair dismissal and compliance with the Fair Work Act 2009.
• Resolving workplace disputes.
• Adopting suitable workplace policies.

Additionally, Melissa’s experience in property damage disputes, personal injury and professional indemnity claims means that she is ready to assist in solving a wide range of legal problems.
