David is one of Tasmania’s most experienced solicitors in the planning, development and local government spheres. He is an expert in each of the services provided by the Local Government, Planning & Development team, which can be found here.
David’s professional philosophy is to forge lasting relationships with clients by achieving the best results as quickly and efficiently as possible. He actively supervises all work carried out by his team members to ensure that we provide:
- prompt assistance and advice – on the same day, if necessary;
- concise, accurate and pragmatic legal advice;
- regular communication with clients to ensure that client and lawyer expectations are matched, including as to the level of fees; and
- a professional, friendly and trusting working relationship.
David’s vast professional experience has extended beyond Simmons Wolfhagen.
He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is a past chair of Tasmanian Young Lawyers, past vice-chair of Australian Young Lawyers, past editor of the Australasian Law Management Journal and past committee member of the General Practice Section of the Law Council of Australia.
