Robert’s main practice areas include building and construction disputes, civil litigation, local government, and planning enforcement.
Robert works closely with a number of our senior practitioners across a broad range of areas providing valuable input and research into what are often very complex matters.
Robert has published research in the Environmental and Planning Law Journal relating to cultural heritage offsets and the opportunities for policies and legislation to deal with their increasing use.
Robert also has previous experience in the preparation of planning appeals and among other matters assists in advising on:
- Assisting councils to enforce the requirements of their planning schemes;
- Domestic building disputes;
- Contract disputes;
- Prosecution of offences against the Building Act 2016, the Dog Control Act 2000 and the Land Use Planning and Approvals Act 1993;
