COVID-19 & Parenting Arrangements

For parents who are working through post-separation parenting arrangements or who already have Parenting Orders in place, the COVID-19 pandemic and associated Government regulations may create some uncertainty or further issues.
The clear message from the Family Court of Australia & Federal Circuit Court of Australia is that parents must continue to act in the best interests of the child/children, that Parenting Orders must be complied with unless there is a reasonable excuse not to do so, and that time with each parent should continue to occur.
