Katie completed her law studies at the University of New England in NSW. She relocated to the North West Coast of Tasmania and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Tasmania in 2019.
Katie is based in our Devonport office and services clients statewide. She has quickly established herself on the North West Coast, developing a practice in Commercial Law, Conveyancing, and Estate Planning.
Katie enjoys meeting new people, listening to their needs, and working with them to provide practical and appropriate legal solutions and advice. As a legal practitioner, she prides herself on working hard and creatively as part of the Simmons Wolfhagen team to meet the needs of our clients.
Katie volunteers her time with community organisations and is the current Chair of the Board for Kentish Regional Clinic Inc. (incorporating CORES Australia), a community organisation based in North West Tasmania that provides support and training programs to individuals, families, and organisations tackling serious community issues, including suicide prevention, LGBTIQA+ and gender diversity training, mental health self-care, and a family-led education interaction program for children under five.
Katie enjoys spending time with her family and is an avid home cook and gardener.
