Emma is a Senior Associate in the Launceston office and has over 20 years’ experience in commercial and property law. She commenced her practice in Brisbane, the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales, before relocating to the United Kingdom to continue her practice in England & Wales. Emma returned to Tasmania in 2008, where she continues to practise, and is admitted to practise in both Australia and England & Wales.
Emma has a broad commercial and property practice and advises on a wide range of matters, including:
- Commercial and residential conveyancing
- Retail and commercial leasing
- Business sales and acquisitions
- Property development and subdivisions, including the preparation of schedules of easements and the creation of easements and covenants
- Providing advice regarding business structures, including partnership and shareholders agreements
- Trusts, including establishment, amendments and variations, and general operational advice.
Emma also practises in Wills and estate planning, including preparing and providing advice in relation to:

- Powers of Attorney
- Enduring Guardianships.
She acts for a diverse range of clients, including individuals, small business owners, developers and corporations.
