Amber practices in Family Law and appears regularly in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. Amber brings both legal acumen and genuine empathy to every client engagement. She understands that family law matters can be among the most emotionally challenging issues individuals and families face, so she strives to deliver clear, practical advice with compassion and respect.
Amber provides advice and representation to assist in navigating sensitive legal matters involving:
- Children and parenting arrangements/orders
- Married and de facto property settlements following relationship breakdowns
- Applications for a change of a name (Child)
- Divorce Proceedings.
Amber is active in the legal profession and Tasmanian community, serving as the current North West Vice President of the Family Law Practitioners Association of Tasmania, Public Officer on the management committee of the North West Community Legal Centre, a Chairman of the North West Football League Tribunal and a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia. In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Amber received the Tasmanian Law Society Young Lawyers Award in 2022.
