Michael is a seasoned executive with a strong foundation in finance, technology, and operational leadership and is the current General Manager at Simmons Wolfhagen Lawyers.
A graduate of the University of Tasmania, Michael began his career as a Chartered Accountant in audit and assurance with a Hobart-based accounting firm. During this time, he worked across a diverse range of industries including not-for-profits, statutory bodies, private companies, and educational institutions.
Michael then spent nine years overseas as Director of Finance and Information Technology for a large fiduciary services company, where he led cross-functional teams and oversaw strategic financial and IT operations.

- Trust accounting in compliance with the Legal Profession Act 2007 (Tas)
