Claire is an Associate solicitor in our Hobart estate planning team. She graduated from the University of Tasmania with a Law (Honours) degree in 2004 and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Tasmania in 2005. Following her admission Claire practised for several years in the estate planning and commercial law areas. She also worked as a lawyer at the Office of Parliamentary Counsel drafting legislation for the Tasmanian government before returning to private practise.
Claire gives advice to clients in relation to all aspects of the estate planning process including:
- Wills (including complex and testamentary trust Wills);
- Powers of Attorney;
- Instruments Appointing Enduring Guardians;
- Succession planning in relation to superannuation, family trusts and company ownership.
Claire has an approachable and personable manner and focuses on ensuring that her clients’ estate planning is comprehensive and tailored to their individual circumstances.
